OPEN TO ALL WHO LIKE TO SING

Following its success in the last two WinterSong Festivals, the Voice Workshop with Bruce Pullan, Music Director of the Vancouver Bach Choir, is returning again for possibly the last time as he will soon be retiring.

In this very popular workshop, Bruce promises a vocal tune up followed by a guided practice. After lunch, the vocal techniques learned will be put into practice on selected pieces of music culminating in a "mini performance".

Music will be provided. Bring a bag lunch. Coffee, tea and juices will be provided.

Formed in 1976, the North Shore Chorus is a community choir based in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. It is a non-auditioned choir that draws its 60 members primarily from North and West Vancouver – the North Shore.

The choir rehearses once a week and performs two or three concerts each year, often collaborating with other amateur organizations. It also performs in the Community as a “public service”.

Its repertoire ranges from pop, jazz and folksong arrangements to madrigals, part-songs and major works with orchestra.

Details of our 2008 Christmas concerts are given below. Rehearsals for the second half of the 2008/2009 Season start on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at Mount Seymour United Church, 1200 Parkgate, North Vancouver and will continue every Wednesday until early May and our Spring concert.
